Partner With Us
Join the movement turning climate promises into practice in Vihiga County.
Rooted in community, driven by youth
The Smart Village Initiative has nurtured grassroots climate action in Vihiga since 2025. From our first dialogues, we grew into the Vihiga Youth Climate Accountability Collective — now launching the Power to Practice project to hold county officials accountable for climate investments.
We are smallholder farmers, young women, out-of-school youth, and unpaid farm volunteers. We are ready to lead.
Why partner with us?
Rooted
Our work grows from trusted relationships with 240+ smallholder farmers, village elders, and youth networks. We bring lived experience, not external expertise.
Proven
In one year, we mobilized 35 volunteers, documented 85+ testimonies, and built partnerships across five wards. We are ready to scale.
Accountable
Our "Power to Practice" initiative trains youth to track budgets, create public scorecards, and demand answers from county officials.
Sustainable
We aim to institutionalize youth-led climate monitoring as a permanent civic practice—lasting beyond any single project.
Ways to partner
Financial support
Fund training, dialogues, accountability tools (Scorecard & Brief), and our Public Accountability Forum.
Technical & capacity
Mentor us in climate budget analysis, policy advocacy, financial systems, and organizational development.
Advocacy & visibility
Amplify our stories, connect us with media, and help us reach decision-makers.
Peer collaboration
Learn and grow with other youth-led climate justice groups—locally and globally.
Current partners & allies
We invite you to join this growing circle of change-makers.
Let's talk
Whether you're a funder, mentor, media, or fellow movement-builder — we'd love to explore how we can work together.
